We’re always grateful for community support and welcome donations for our residents – including clothing, bed linen, personal equipment, and thoughtful gifts for occasions like Christmas and Easter.

You can bring your donations directly to our centre at:

87 Back Beach Road, Yarrabah QLD 4871.

If you’d like to check what items are most needed, or arrange a time for drop-off, please call us on (07) 4056 9290.

Acknowledgement of Country

Mutkin Residential and Community Care Services’ Board of Directors and staff respectfully acknowledge the Gunggandji people, the Traditional Custodians of Yarrabah – this place of deep cultural belonging, community strength and connection to sea, sky and land.

We pay our respects to Gunggandji Elders past, present and emerging. We honour their stories, their language, their cultural knowledge, and their ongoing care for this Country that sustains us.

We acknowledge the neighbouring tribes whose lands and waterways connect with Yarrabah Country – the Yidinji people to the south and east that the Djabugay & Irukandji peoples to the north – and we pay our respects to their Elders & families.

We wish to advise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people that images may contain photos of deceased people.

Mutkin is a trusted pillar in the Yarrabah community and we pride ourselves in providing culturally and spiritually-sensitive care services. Our model of care incorporates activities which specifically address the needs of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
